Unitary Workers’ Front calls march in Ecuador-PrensaLatina

Quito, Aug. 30 (Prensa Latina) The call for a national march by the Unitary Workers’ Front (Spanish acronym FUT) in rejection of the policies of the Moreno government, received this Friday the support of several sectors.

FUT President Messiah Tatamuez announced the demonstration on September 5, to reject the labor reform package that the Ecuadorian executive will present to the National Assembly.

The protest will also voice opposition to the deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and public sector layoffs.
