“Delegations from Bolivia, Cuba, Venezuela, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Dominica, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Antigua and Barbuda agreed to forgo the US dollar for a new regional trade currency to be called the Regional Single Compensation System (sucre).”
