Reuters – Ecuador says bankers must sell media interests

Ecuador President Rafael Correa has told financial companies that they must sell any interests in the media sector:

ECUADOREAN President Rafael Correa on Saturday gave financial companies in the Andean country until October to sell their interests in the media sector, saying bankers must be bankers, not journalists.
