Report concludes that there was political persecution in Correa’s government – Ecuador Times

The Bureau for Truth and Justice, formed to collect cases of political persecution of the regime of former President Rafael Correa, concluded that the former president and officials of that government used justice to persecute opponents and criminalize social protest.
The final report, presented on Monday, February 25, in the auditorium of the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, in Quito, includes 247 cases of political persecution that occurred during the Correa administration.
