Another abuse of power was detected in the government of former President Rafael Correa. The Comptroller General of the State determined that the ex-president must answer for a glossary of nine million dollars for the misuse of state airplanes.
The news was disseminated on September 12, 2019, by the person involved. In his Twitter account, as usual, Correa said “Yesterday [Wednesday, September 11] I was notified” gloss “of nine million dollars for” use of presidential aircraft. ” It must be something unprecedented in history, “gloss” a president for not having used the aircraft exclusively for him, but to have put them at the service of the entire State. ”
