Radio Sucre – Ecuador: Banana exporters sanctioned due to breach of law

The Ministry of Agriculture (MAGAP), has initiated a compliance and obligations review process to exporting and marketing banana companies. So far 19 companies have been sentenced, these same companies have to pay a fine of approximately USD 60,000. The fine is for failing to submit provisional landing plans.
