Prensa Latina – Ecuador to Increase Oil Production in 2012

Country where the Chevron Ecuador trial has taken place to increase domestic oil production:

Ecuador will increase oil production next year to 520,000 barrels a day as an average, the minister for Non-Renewable Resources, Wilson Pastor, said on Friday.

Ecuador’s oil production currently amounts to 500,000 barrels a day, and the annual goal was to reach 502,000 barrels, which Pastor said it will be completed, since “oil production is increasing and it has reached 504,000 barrels these days.”
