Patton Boggs is continuing to go through a rocky period despite working over the last year to usher in a new era.
The struggling Washington powerhouse is shuttering its New Jersey operation and a number of high profile partners are in talks to leave the firm, according to sources familiar with the situation.
The lobbying and law firm held a regularly scheduled all-partners meeting Thursday to discuss the state of its business and announced a decision to close the Newark, N.J., office. Patton Boggs lists 26 lawyers working out of that office on its website.
