The Minister of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources, Juan Carlos Bermeo, assures that there is a strategy to meet the goal of increasing crude oil production by 40,000 barrels per day until December; however, for the goal of one million barrels he assures that the support of the country must be had. In an interview with this newspaper he also reveals that there is an unusual interest in buying the 45 Gas Stations of Petroecuador. He also explains that the decision of whether the reforms to the Hydrocarbons Law, which he presented a few days ago to the Presidency, will be part of the megalaw prepared by the Government on economic issues, is president Guillermo Lasso’s.
