As the world watches the BP oil disaster along the Gulf Coast, a small but curious group of environmental activists, attorneys and government officials are involved in the largest cover-up of an oil disaster in world history.

For nearly 20 years, hundreds of thousands of gallons of oil have spilled into the Amazon River region of Ecuador. You might think it’s hard to hide that amount of oil. And, you’d be right.
