Former President Correa advocates for a better world after Covid-19- Prensa Latina
Ecuador’s former President Rafael Correa on Friday expressed his aspiration for a better world after Covid-19, in which progressivism has much to say.
His wish was expressed during an intervention in the framework of the Fifth Meeting of the Puebla Group: Union is Change, where peace, economy and the pandemic were discussed.
According to the former president, what is happening today is very serious and will overcome, on a planetary level, the crisis of 1929 (Great Depression), with severe economic damage in the United States and countries in Europe and other areas.
‘We are facing the most serious emergency of the last century and in the case of Ecuador, it is the most serious in history,’ he said.
