The National Electoral Council (CNE) of Ecuador and the Integrated Security System ECU 911 are working together to guarantee biosecurity in the elections scheduled for February 7, 2021.
The plan is to operate the Distance2 technological platform, used by ECU 911, on the day of elections.
The initiative allows using intelligence surveillance cameras installed nationwide to facilitate the identification of potential crowds to prevent the risk of contagion with the new coronavirus.
