The newly created Parliament of the Peoples and Social Organizations of Ecuador announced yesterday Wednesday the conclusion of a proposed alternative economic program to that presented by the government of Ecuador.
At a press conference, leaders from different social and indigenous sectors informed that the text was prepared on the basis of ideas contributed by 182 organizations and with contributions from the communities.
Good government is that which plans with the people, good government listens to the people’s proposals and generates trust. Walk and know the reality of the people,’ said the president of the Confederation of Indigenous Nationalities of Ecuador (Conaie), Jaime Vargas, who clarified that the body in charge is one of the conveners in the process of developing the plan.
