Financial institutions from Ecuador and Colombia are promoting today reciprocal cooperation to facilitate collaboration in fields of common interest such as monetary policy and the management of international reserves.
This initiative was undertaken by Veronica Artola Jarrin, general manager of the Central Bank of Ecuador (BCE), and her counterpart of the Bank of the Republic of Colombia, Juan Jose Echavarria.
The agreement seeks to strengthen the relation of the national institution with the central banks of the region, according to a statement from the BCE.
