The mass torts litigation saga of Chevron v. Donziger continues. In this long-running case, the U.S. District Court in Manhattan ruled and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit affirmed that, among other things, Chevron (CVX) properly used the civil RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) laws to hold liable plaintiffs’ attorney Steven R.
