In an immediate reaction to the denunciation made on Tuesday by the ex-president of Ecuador Rafael Correa, about the possible elimination of his party Social Commitment Force, of the Electoral Registry, the voices of condemnation to the attempt are increasing.
On Twitter, Correa warned that the elimination of the political force corresponding to List 5 is ‘illegal and untimely.’
Subsequently, the social network did not wait to see the expressions of support for the political movement and the rejection of its banning, which, in the opinion of many, is part of a strategy organized by the national government to prevent the former president from participating in the upcoming general and legislative elections agreed upon in February 2021.
