Ecuador’s credit rating raised, still six notches into junk territory, following President Rafael Correa’s refusal to pay back some debts to foreign creditors:
Ecuador’s credit rating was raised one level by Standard & Poor’s Ratings Service, which cited the nation’s “willingness” to pay its debt.
