“The Ecuadorian government will establish an ethic committee to regulate the country’s news media, a government official said on Tuesday. [Secretary General of Communications Fernando] Alvarado’s comments came one day after Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa announced the cancellation of the licenses of some radio and TV stations due to what he called irregularities.”
