“An Ecuadorean TV official says his network was within its legal rights when it broadcast a conversation between the president and a member of the assembly that drafted a new constitution last year. Teleamazonas news director Carlos Jijon says President Rafael Correa and the official “were talking not about personal, but public affairs”: the constitution’s approval.”
